FUNNE (Familias Unidas con Niños con Necesidades Especiales) is an education workshop for Spanish-speaking parents and caregivers of children with special needs.

Joining us this month will be Oscar Avilés, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Oscar will discuss the DVR program and how it can support teenagers and adults with disabilities to find a permanent job or training. Following the presentation will be a question and answer session.

The Epilepsy Foundation Heart of Wisconsin has teamed up with Moms on a Mission in order to advance epilepsy research that may one day lead to a cure!

Join us as we raise awareness and funds for epilepsy research during the annual Epilepsy Run/Walk and Casino Night in Lancaster. Proceeds support the Epilepsy Foundation Research Challenge which helps bring new therapies to market sooner.

Stroll for Epilepsy

Join us at Palmer Park for our annual Stroll for Epilepsy! Strollers and power walkers share paved pathways through wooded arbors alongside beautiful water features. It is adjacent to Camden Playground, a playground that is fun for all and accommodates children with special needs.

By participating in the Janesville Stroll for Epilepsy, you are helping families in Southern Wisconsin who are dealing with the obstacles that seizures bring to their lives. Proceeds from this year’s stroll will support client services, patient education, emergency medication assistance and summer camp for youth with epilepsy. Proceeds will ensure that individuals impacted by epilepsy can get the support they need no matter where they live in Southern Wisconsin.
