The Epilepsy Update Dinner program is an opportunity to increase knowledge on epilepsy and available treatments, improve the ability of patients to communicate effectively with health care providers, and to provide epilepsy self-management trainings and knowledge of community resources.

Joining us will be Dr. Janel Schneider from Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. Dr. Schneider will be presenting "Options for Hard to Treat Epilepsy" at the Corner House. Cost is $7 for individuals with epilepsy and their loved ones, $12 for professionals; dinner is included.

Advances In Epilepsy Treatment

The 37th annual Advances In Epilepsy Treatment conference will host a variety of topics from medical and health professionals who are experts on managing epilepsy. This year, topics will include:

Stroll For Epilepsy

Join us at Palmer Park for the 26th annual Stroll for Epilepsy. Strollers and power walkers share paved pathways through wooded arbors alongside beautiful water features. It is adjacent to Camden Playground, a playground that is fun for all and accommodates children with special needs.

By participating in the Janesville Stroll for Epilepsy, you are helping families in Southern Wisconsin who are dealing with the obstacles that seizures bring to their lives. Proceeds from this year's stroll will support client services, patient education, emergency medication assistance and summer camp for youth with epilepsy. Proceeds will ensure that individuals impacted by epilepsy can get the support they need no matter where they live in Southern Wisconsin.
